Trainee Infant Care Teacher (Place and Train Sponsorship Programme)
The place-and-train programme offers a combination of classroom training and work place attachments designed to immerse you in the childcare and infantcare envrionment. You will also be provided real time feedback and peer support during the programme.
As a Trainee Infant Care Teacher you will be focusing on looking after infants from 2 to 18 months. You will be enrolled for the WSQ Advance Certificate in Early Years (ACEY) course that specialize in the learning and development of children age 0 to 3 years old. Upon graduation you will be awarded the ACEY certificate and required to complete a one year bond with us as an InfantCare Teacher teaching infants 2 to 18 months.
•Completed Secondary 4 education or 10 years of formal edcuation
•At least a C6 in English ‘O’ level or a score of an average SOA 5 in the Workplace Literacy(WPL) series, including level 5 for WPL (Written)
•Experience in looking after / teaching infants from 2 to 18 mths (e.g. kids gym, baby sitting etc)
