Executive, Research & Statistics Unit

JOB DESCRIPTION


As part of EDB’s continuous efforts to develop the suite of industry clusters in Singapore, our Research & Statistics Unit has the onus of responsibility to provide valuable information for decision making by the respective business groups. The unit has been and will continue to be an important business partner to our EDB officers, catering to internal needs as well as demands brought forth by other government agencies and/or private sector. With increased pipeline of development activities, our Research & Statistic Unit is currently seeking an experienced professional to join them. In this role, you will be involved in:

You will be part of the Research & Statistics unit to execute activities relating to surveys and statistical findings & reporting.

Your key responsibilities include:
 

  • Assist in conducting surveys
  • Check completeness of data from the survey forms, analyse the survey data and follow up with companies for clarification if necessary
  • Assist in the compilation of statistical tables/reports
  • Assist in other general administrative duties within the team


JOB REQUIREMENTS

To meet the challenges in this role, you must have/be:

  • Diploma in Business/Accountancy/Finance or other disciplines
  • Good communication skills and confident when liasing with respondents at all levels
  • Meticulous
  • Knowledge in Accounting would be an added advantage
